Description

Large Flange rivets offer a wider bearing surface and are preferred where brittle or soft materials are being assembled to rigid surfaces.

Made of Aluminum Alloy 5056, 5154, or equivalent. Aluminum alloys have excellent corrosion resistance.

The steel mandrel is pulled into or against the rivet body, breaking at or near the junction of the mandrel shank and its upset end. The steel mandrel gives this style of rivet greater tensile and shear values than aluminum rivets with aluminum mandrels.
